Job Description

As the Director of Go-to-market Systems at Vanta, you will be responsible for ensuring our tools and systems help our go-to-market teams effectively serve our reps, customers and prospects with a best-in-class experience.
You and your team will be responsible for building and maintaining a best-in-class tooling suite that accelerates our team’s performance through a world-class user experience. This includes effectively integrating tools together, leveraging AI, and building processes to ensure our teams have the data and support to provide an incredible experience for our customers. You will lead a team of engineers, admins, and analysts, driving excellence in execution, stability, and user experience.
What you’ll do as a Director, Go-to-Market Systems at Vanta:
- Own the complete end-to-end delivery and improvement of Go-to-Market systems
- Design the technical architecture of go-to-market systems, ensuring scalability and stability
- Enable your teams to deploy scalable workflows, integrations, and automations
- Effectively manage the development lifecycle, ensuring effective prioritization that is aligned with the Go-to-Market strategy and eliminating technical debt.
- Set the vision for a world-class user experience for Go-to-Market teams through optimization of current tools, workflows, and integrations.
- Hire, manage, and develop a strong and high-performing team of admins, engineers, and product analysts.
- Ensure strong adoption of tools to maximize usage of tooling
- Own and lead an AI adoption roadmap, ensuring our tools are leveraging AI
- Monitor and own system health and stability, ensuring high uptime and limited bugs
- Effectively manage change through strong stakeholder communication and roadmap planning
How to be successful in this role:
- Owned and led Go-to-Market systems teams in a SaaS environment for the last 8+ years
- Strong understanding of sales-led GTM motions in B2B SaaS environments
- Experience designing and implementing scalable workflows, integrations, and automations focused on user experience
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with a proven ability in stakeholder management
- Problem solver who is willing to operate at multiple levels, including executive-level communication
- 4+ years of experience scaling systems teams in high-growth B2B sales organizations
- Passionate about designing and building a modern go-to-market architecture
- Experience leveraging best-in-class go-to-market tooling such as (Clay, Workato, Gong, and more)
- Has proven experience building with AI to tangibly improve GTM motions.
